I LOVE summer and love the beach even more. So when it comes time to finding great bikinis, I’m always on the hunt for quality at a great price. Victoria’s Secret has been my go-to for years, so when they announced back in 2016 they were no longer going to carry swimwear, I freaked!
Thankfully, we can all rest assured because their PINK line still carries a ton of styles!!
I’ve been super into olive green lately so when I can across this ruffled triangle top bikini for under $30 I was ecstatic. However I was a little worried about what the quality would be like. To my surprise, it is awesome!
The bikini is fully light and has light removable padding in the top. As with most of their stuff, it runs a bit small so here I’m wearing a Medium for the top and Small for the bottoms. It also comes in a ton of colors and prints!
Best part about all of this?! It’s only $29.95!!!!
Like many of you from the Northeast, I grew up spending my summer "down the shore" and visiting the Florida sunshine when snow was the only in sight during the winter. My family is that family who sits on the beach from dawn until dusk and oddly none of us get bored, we don't complain, its definitely our happy place. So what can make a the sun and sand even better? PUPPIES!
My husband and I share a mutual love for the beach and ocean and dogs, but he is a little less content with just vegging in the sand all day...he needs an "activity". So, when we would visit South Florida we would always go to the Jupiter Dog Beach....and no, when we started this, we didn't have a dog. But of course when we got our Frenchie baby Havana (who travels with us EVERYWHERE...more to come on that) we couldn't wait to take her to the dog beach!
Now, every time we visit Florida, we start our mornings with coffee, puppies, and the sunrise. I'm determined to make this a permanent lifestyle one day, but for now, our few visits per year will have to suffice.
This is news to this bulldog! Although we never let her in water that is too deep for that long because they really do sink. Havana is obsessed with the water and ocean though!
One thing I love about the beach is I can layer pieces and also not care about accessorizing. Trust me, these dogs have better things to pay attention to.
On this trip I was LOVING these linen Gap utility jogger pants (on sale now!) and was clearly going for an ombre look with the water. The high-low knit sweater was the perfect addition to this outfit and kept me warm with the cool ocean breeze.
The best part? Both pieces are under $40!
My sunnies are also one of my favorite pairs from Burberry. I bought these a few years ago and if they ever break, I WILL cry.
This is also when I began to sport the tiniest little baby bump at 17 weeks!!
